Temecula Western Days

Temecula was having their annual Western Days and we thought it would be fun to take the kids for the day. Here are the kids posing for me. Time for Calf Roping! The girls didn't want anything to do with it, but Seth sure did. He had fun learning how to throw a rope like a real cowboy does.

We listened to some live country/bluegrass music.

Posed with a scarecrow. tee-hee hee

And watched a gun/stunt show. Or at least we tried. All 3 kids freaked out when the guns were shot and so we had to hurry on past.

The highlight of our day was getting to ride on a stagecoach being pulled by four draft horses. Bonus, it was free!

No one under the age of 5 was allowed to ride on top. This actually worked in our favor, because everone wanted to ride on top, so we were able to go from the back of the line to the very front!
