Kya's class is studying Farm Animals this month and so the teacher asked if we would bring in some pictures of our horses. Of course! So we all went out to our back field to take a few pictures and Wayne also decided this would be a good time to try out his new saddle. The kids each wanted to ride too, which was a new experience for them, as in the past they have only ridden bareback on our smallest horse Arasa. This time they were able to ride a much bigger horse, in a saddle with their Daddy.
I love this picture of Kya. She is growing up to be a beautiful young lady.

She is also becoming quite the horse lady. Here she is doing a fantastic job curry combing Wilstr.

Kya was full of smiles as she rode Wilstr for the first time.

Elsie not so much.

Seth enjoyed the beginning of his ride, but then Wilstr started to get a bit frisky and he was ready to get off.

Corrals serve several purposes. The main one obviously is to house a horse. But did you know that they are also great as a jungle gym!?!

And as a playpen! Here they are all looking up at an airplane flying over.

Elsie decided it was time for her to escape!

And a few pictures of our pets! Wilstr and Lassang
