What we did while Kya was in school

Seth missed his big sister big time. All day he kept asking where his Kya was. When it was time to go to school, he very much wanted to go too!

He quickly forgot about his desire to go to school himself when we walked to the park for him to play.

Hanging out with Daddy is always a favorite thing to do. Once we got home, Seth went with Daddy to buy more horse and dog food. He came home telling me all about the puppy's he got to see.

Elsie hung out and chewed on her toes. yum yum

When it was time to go home without Kya, he became upset once again...
But Daddy was able to get a laugh out of him.

After lunch Seth put some Noah's Ark foamie Stickers on a brown paper bag.

Then took them all off and laid them in a pile.

Elsie played in her high chair.

Kya goes to preschool

Yes, that is right, my baby started preschool today. We went and checked out her class and teachers on Friday and she loved it. We talked about going to school all weekend and she was very excited about it. This morning though, I think she could feel the nerves running thru Wayne and I, because all of a sudden she started saying she didn't want to go to school and had a melt down in the van. Mommy cried on the way to school, because I just wasn't ready to let my baby go. But all went terrific once we arrived at school. Kya saw her teachers and became very excited again and had no problems walking with her classmates to class without us in tow. When I came to pick her up she decided that she didn't want to leave, so I guess she must have enjoyed herself. Then the school bus came to pick up the other kids and she wanted to go on it too. She was very tired as school doesn't get out until 2:30 and her nap is normally at 2:00. Therefore, she had another meltdown when I told her that I would be picking her up every day and that she could not take the bus. Sorry, but I just feel that she is WAY to young to be taking the bus to and from school everyday.

Ready to go to school.
Waiting for her classmates to arrive

There goes my baby with her teachers and classmates without her parents (sob, sob)

She was EXHAUSTED! Couldn't even stay awake for the 10 minute drive home.
