A day with the cousins

My brother and his family bought a new house that needed to have the popcorn scraped off the ceilings and all the walls needed to be painted before they could move in. So I volunteered to watch my niece and nephew along with my own three kids. That made 5 kids ages 3 and under. It could have gone either really bad with a bunch of crying, fighting, whining, etc or it could have gone really well, where the kids all played and had a good time. Thankfully, it went really well. We stayed outside most of the time, which helped a ton, as I wasn't having to keep them out of things they shouldn't be in. Here are some pictures from the 1st hour. After that it was getting too hard to take care of them all and snap pictures.

They started out on the swing set...
while Elsie received unwanted kisses from Dakota.

Aren't these two the cutest! They are only 2 months apart, so it felt a bit like having twins. Elsie then took Grace's place on the swing set.... while she joined Seth in playing in the sand box. And these two are only 6 months apart.

Later, everyone took turns being pulled in the wagon. Dakota even wanted a turn. Seth tried to pull the girls, but they were a little too heavy.
So he decided to join them instead!

Next it was the boys turn. Seth is always surrounded by girls. He of course, only has sisters, then at church he is the only boy in his class and all my friends 2 year olds are girls. So I am really hoping that since Caleb and Seth are only 17 months apart, that they will eventually enjoy playing and hanging out together.
And lastly, it was time for the "twins" to take a ride. I thought it was cute how they were both wearing jeans and zip up hoodie's.
