The kids attended Vacation Bible School (VBS) last week and had a blast learning about God! Every day they would come home talking a mile a minute telling me all about what they had learned & reciting bible verses . This was Elsie's first year and gave me a small glimpse of what the upcoming year will be like having an empty house for a few hours each day.
The VBS had a couple of "crazy" days and ended the week with a fun day on water slides and eating snow cones. Tuesday was crazy sock day and Thursday was crazy hair day. Kya opted for three colors in her hair, while the other two just wanted green.
On Friday evening, we went back for their church service and to see our kids perform 3 of the songs/dances they learned while at VBS. I love that churches offer these VBS programs during the Summer. Not only does it give the kids something to do, but they are learning about God while doing it.
