Horses, Bulls, Cowboys...Oh Boy!

Wayne and I had been talking about taking the kids to the rodeo, when a lady from church called to say we could have her 4 tickets that she had won off of the radio. Kids under 8 are free, so we called up our friends Jason and Cindy to join us. Jason had a softball game, but Cindy gladly accepted the offer. It was really good to see her again. The kids were amazed with all the horses, calves, bulls, cowboys, rodeo queens and the large crowd of people. My little social bugs, Kya and Seth, made friends with just about everyone around us. One lady behind us had popcorn and offered them to Kya who then shared them with her brother. Seth ended up charming several ladies and even was sitting on their laps for a while. I thought it was funny, because every lady he charmed had big 'ol boobs and tank tops with tight jeans on. Silly boy. Elsie cracked me up as she would scream at the top of her lungs and bounce up and down while waving her arms, as if to cheer on the cowboys and cowgirls. After the rodeo, they held a dance where my kids once again made friends pretty quickly with the other dancers. It was so fun to watch Kya try to do the line dances. Even though she wasn't as quick as the adults, she had no problem picking up the steps. I see a future dancer in her.
