Kya's Winter Program

Kya's school had their winter program on Tuesday. They performed in one of our local high schools auditorium in front of a packed house. The two preschool classes performed together with the three kindergarten classes. They sang Rudolf the Red-Nosed Reindeer and Santa Claus Is Coming To Town. The entire group did a wonderful job, but I have to give Kya a shout out for doing a FABULOUS job. She sang both songs perfectly, projected her voice and did all the hand motions too. I was especially pleased by how well she did, because when we were at home she kept saying that she did not want to sing or perform and even had a bit of a meltdown. Can we say Stage Fright?

After the show, she was full of excitement. She would not stop talking about her performance and kept going up to all her little friends to say hi. So getting her to stop and pose for this picture was a task. Doesn't she look like a Winter Princess? I am so in love with my beautiful girl!
